I’m Caroline, a seventeen year old girl living in Los Angeles with a passion for using whole, natural ingredients to create food that taste incredible, and makes us feel amazing. As a high school student, I understand that between school work, sports, and extracurriculars it’s difficult to find time in our busy schedules to cook meals, prep lunches, or throw together quick snacks that are healthy and taste good. It’s so important though, because by fueling our bodies with the right foods, we can be more productive, have more energy, get better sleep, and live a more balanced life.
By creating this website, I’m hoping to show anyone who is busy, in need of inspiration, or looking for a way to feel better, that healthy eating is so much easier than people think, and ten times more delicious. One of the biggest misconceptions of eating right is that it means a lot of plain bowls of oatmeal, boring salads, steamed vegetables, and brown rice. With my recipes, I’m hoping to show how flavorful, indulgent, and mouthwatering whole foods can be, to encourage everyone to try to incorporate more nourishing foods into their lives. Anyone who knows me can testify that I have dessert every night, and could not live without it. It’s all about choosing the right thing to both satisfy cravings, and give our bodies the nutrients it needs to function in the best way possible! Healthy eating is not a diet, and not about restriction or deprivation. It’s different for everyone, and there is no one right way to go about it. Eat real foods the make you feel your best, and give you the goodness your body deserves.
